Its been a great start to the year, with a couple of group exhibitions to keep me busy.
Later this year, I am once again exhibiting at Kings College Fine Art Fair.
This is such a wonderful exhibition, with an array of artists who work in a variety of mediums.
I have been working towards a variety of my own subjects also, looking at the concept of ‘The Stare” – A less frightening version of Monk’s Scream, I guess.
What I find intriguing, are the expressions seen from the subject and how one interprets the meaning behind them. Animals after all, don’t think like we do, however personalities do exist. Its a great lark anyway, and I am enjoying every bit of it.
Also this year, I have included some smaller art works in the Artbox stand. These works are cheeky works that meld together art from the past and scenes of New Zealand – perfect for the mantle or entry table.
Kings College Art Fair. November 4th – 6th 2018. See you there.
